Bio
Coach Demetrius Green is a 2009 graduate of Cedartown High School (GA), where he was a three-sport athlete in football, basketball, and track. His experience as a multi-sport athlete helped develop his passion for competition, teamwork, and athlete development.
He continued his football career at Lenoir-Rhyne University from 2009 to 2013, earning both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Exercise Science. His education and playing experience provided a strong foundation in strength and conditioning and athlete performance.
Coach Green brings prior high school coaching experience from North Gaston High School and Hunter Huss High School, where he helped develop student-athletes and contributed to their growth on and off the field.
Outside of coaching, Coach Green works as an Operations Manager for the Target Distribution Center, where he leads teams and focuses on operational excellence.
Coach Green and his wife, Heather, have four children: Teagan (12), Tristan (11), Peightan (8), and Trentan (6). He and his family have been proud members of the Sherrills Ford community for the past three years. He is passionate about mentoring young athletes and helping them succeed in athletics and in life.
